Upcoming Event: Back to
School Service, Sunday, August 19, 5:00pm
This is our fourth annual meeting. We are looking forward to this
opportunity, as we gather with other congregations to pray for area
students, teachers, and administrators, blessing them as they return to
school.
Why do we need to pray for and stand with this
next generation? Some might even suggest that the job of
supporting youth and children is the job of the youth or children
ministers. But, the situation we face in our country is desperate. At
the current rate, only 4% of youth in our nation are coming to Christ.
Read that number again: only 4%. The trend is devastating. Builders gave
their lives to Christ at 65%; Boomers, 35%; Busters, 16%; Millennials,
4%. (For more, see BattleCry,
from Ron Luce and Teen Mania.)
What will America
look like when the number of Bible-believing Christians in
leadership in our businesses, homes, schools, and government falls to
4%? All we have to do is look at Europe to get an idea of what America
looks like without revival.
In light of the great need and in light of the
promises and purposes of God for this nation and this generation,
we need to pray for and to serve this generation. We need a visitation
of God. We are asking God for a miracle, for what our children and youth
need. Humble, fervent, consistent prayer is one part of our response to
the need of the hour (2 Chronicles 7:14;
Ezekiel 22:30
). So….
Join us for an evening of worship, prayer, and
blessing for our schools, students, teachers, and administrators.
We will also receive an offering to help students purchase school
supplies. You may also bring school supplies to the Prayer Rally. The
offering will be given to Bear Creek Assistance Ministries and Cypress
Assistance Ministries.
In your spheres of influence, be sure to extend a special invitation to
students, teachers, and administrators, inviting them to join us that
evening.
Please forward this info
to your neighbors and friends.
The event is sponsored by area churches and ministry leaders.

Our Values:
We are here to bless and serve. We want to pray for and offer protection
and blessing for our students, teachers, and administrators. We want to
pray for God's wisdom to flourish, that students could learn and
teachers could teach. And, we are asking God for revival among this
generation of students.
