Adult Bible Study Descriptions

finding god in the stars

In this class, we will learn about God’s voice in the stars. There will be a little astronomy, no astrology, and an abundance of how God uses the stars to speak to us. Genesis 1:14, says that God created the sun, moon, and stars for “signs, times, and seasons.” We understand time and seasons, but we don’t understand signs. Jesus said, “Why do you not know the signs of the times?” One answer is we don’t understand the stars in the sky and how God may speak. The materials will come from Streams Ministries and the computer program Starry Night. Look up!

humility - A Discussion

We will be discussing the aspects of humility and how humility blesses us. “Jesus, the meek and lowly One, calls us to learn of Him the path to God. Let us study the words until our hearts are filled with this thought: My one need is humility. Let us believe that what He shows, He gives: what He is, He imparts. As the meek and lowly One, He will come in and dwell in the longing heart.” Andrew Murray

Men's Class - "Fresh Manna"

A participatory class. God is working through each of us and we want to build upon those experiences. Men need encouragement and camaraderie. Come be a part of the fellowship.
Facilitator: Greg Ball

Motherhood

Join us as we explore the calling the Lord gave us - as nurturers, influencers, teachers, warriors - and so much more! This class is for mothers of young children, those who hope to become mothers, and those whose maternal role extends beyond their own children.

operating in the courts of heaven

Why do some people pray in agreement with God’s will, heart, and timing; yet the desired answers do not come? This class will be going through the book by Robert Henderson called, “Operating in the Courts of Heaven,” to discuss how to pray more effectively. The sub-title of the book is “Granting God the Legal Right to Fulfill His Passion and Answer Our Prayers.” The books will be available for purchase in the class.
