Brief ministry philosophy: The Men’s Ministry strives to create a safe and encouraging environment to explore the critical issues confronting men in our ever-changing culture. By sharing our stories, walking in the light, building strong relationships, and making the masculine journey together we make every effort to “love the brotherhood”.

How is the servant team structured? : Mature men who have demonstrated godly character and a desire to help lead other men on the masculine journey are recruited to serve on the “Men’s Ministry Tiger Force”. Currently, the servant team includes Stacey Horne, Rick Jones, Rick Ervin, Warren Harkleroad, and Mike Green.

Activities offered:

This is an interactive discussion group focusing on some of the significant life- issues facing men. While looking to the Scriptures for insight and instruction, some of the topics include exploring the masculine image, what motivates men, common masculine entanglements, what men crave, and understanding the masculine journey. Discussion materials are provided.

Calvary ’s men’s retreat offers the opportunity to strengthen godly masculine  relationships while seeking the Father together through worship, interacting with challenging messages, and recreation. This year’s men’s retreat is scheduled for October 19-21.

Calvary ’s men’s ministry hosts this annual Super Bowl party inviting dads, moms, sons and daughters, and friends to cheer for their favorite NFL world championship contender and taunt those cheering for the opposition. The party happens in theCove and drinks and refreshments are available.
