Student Ministry

Sundays    Wednesday Nights    Youth Camp Letter 2008    April Youth Calendar (pdf)

Calvary has an active Student Ministry whose goal is to create and maintain an environment that helps students to do the following:

Fall in love with Jesus
Develop a mature understanding of God
Live a life full of power, freedom, joy and responsibility
Introduce others to Jesus
Develop their ability to worship God
Maintain their daily passion for Jesus
Remain morally pure

The above goals are realized in the student's life through many different ministry opportunities, such as:

Sundays (grades 6-12)

Bible Study Insightful and practical Bible study is offered for Junior High boys, Junior High girls, Senior High boys and Senior High girls.
CCC Student Center, Sundays, 8:45 am

Youth Fellowship (SMASH) SMASH (Student Ministry Awesome Sunday Happening) is an opportunity for the entire youth group to invade a local hot spot to go wild and crazy!
Location varies, once a quarter from 6:00 - 8:00 pm

Wednesday Nights

Open Gym Time This is a time for students to come together for recreation, fun and fellowship, and precedes Lifehouse.

Lifehouse Lifehouse follows a rotating schedule of various youth activities such as worship, a special presentation, a talent show, a game show, or a large group teaching.
CCC Student Center, Wednesdays opposite Youth Encounter from 6:30 - 9:00 pm

Encounter Encounter is a time where students can come together to be encouraged and to seek the Lord.  They can explore His word and experience Spirit-lead ministry.  There are 8 groups for the Fall 2006 Session which are divided by grade (one per grade level, except 8th has two groups).  The Junior High groups will meet at CCC in the classrooms above the kitchen, and the Senior High Groups will meet in the Student Center at CCC.

Encounter times are 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. and meals will be provided by CCC.  Please see the Calendar for a list of Encounter dates.
